Anticlea (Odyssey)

Anticlea takes us to the desolate shore of Cimmeria where Odysseus will conjure up the souls of the dead from the Underworld (in a famous episode which would inspire Virgil and Dante). He meets a simple crew-member who had fallen overboard, his illustrious companions in the Trojan War, the prophet Tiresias—and his mother!
