Apocalypse (New Testament)
Duration: about 60 minutes
This production emphasises the hallucinatory qualities of John’s vision. Supplementary narrators are paired to become the metaphorical ears and eyes of the Evangelist himself. The raw images from mediaeval Spain and France, match the stark simplicity of the Greek text from second century Palestine; together they bring the all too familiar visions and quotations to ‘newness of life’.
