Two Noble Kinsmen from Lycia (Linked episodes from the heart of the Iliad): the story of Sarpedon and his kinsman Glaucus offers a microcosm of the whole epic, ranging from powerful debate to martial energy and poignant elegy (as Zeus reluctantly accepts that he cannot save his favourite son from the fate decreed by Destiny).
