Things to do
This web site could be improved! We list below some improvements we’d like to make.
Pronunciation guides
We should have a brief pronunciation guide for each language. (Even in the case for example of French, a language that many English speakers learn, the classical French of Corneille is pronounced differently from the modern tongue.)
There are already guides for Ancient Greek tucked away in a corner, for both English and modern Greek speakers.
Missing English translations
The following productions lack full English translations of the scripts:
- Anticlea
- Apocalypse
- Calypso
- Circe
- Dante’s Virgil
- Horace
- Mark’s Gospel
- Nausicaa
- Noble Kinsmen from Lycia
- Oedipus at Colonus
- Pan Tadeusz
- Penelope
- Persephone
- Prometheus Bound
- Pulchérie
- Sampson Nazaraios
Materials in other languages
Some of the productions were performed in Italy, and we have the slides in Italian. It would be good to have translations for more productions, and in other languages.
